For the course design workshop, I chose to educate myself on the skill of being able to reproduce patterns from existing garments. This course is still ongoing so additional projects will be added. Understanding patterns was an important first step involving making a jacket. This was followed by the top which was based on an existing dress. Eventually, it will be interesting to have more knowledge about the pattern making technique to produce own patterns.
